Prepared Childbirth
Gain confidence through knowledge by attending our childbirth preparation class. Learn about labor, childbirth, pain management, and breathing and relaxation techniques. Discuss variations of labor and delivery, such as induction of labor and cesarean section. A tour of SPMHC’s OB Department is included. Cost: $40 paid at the time of registration. |

New Family Class
Designed for first-time parents or as a refresher course, this class offers information on newborn and postpartum care. This class is offered six times per year in the evening. Refreshments will be served. Your third trimester is the most beneficial time for you and your support person to attend. Cost: Free |

Sibling Class
This class is designed to prepare children for the birth of their new sibling in a positive way. Moms and Dads bring in your future Big Brothers and Sisters for a personal tour of SPMHC's OB Department, snacks and a special gift. Breastfeeding Basics
Learn basic skills and get off to a great start breastfeeding your baby. This class will provide you with the knowledge of supply and demand, latching and positioning, as well as an opportunity to ask questions. This class is offered on the third Tuesday of every month at 5pm. Plan to attend this class during your third trimester if you are planning to or are considering breastfeeding. Cost: Free. |

Breastfeeding Support Group
This is a monthly support group to provide encouragement and education to the newly breastfeeding mom. Receive support from other breastfeeding moms and share concerns with a Lactation Specialist. Discuss breastfeeding in the first couple of months and the best options for you and your baby. Classes are held on the first Tuesday at 12:45pm. Cost: Free. |

New Moms' Group
Come join other new moms and their babies to ask questions, share stories and express concerns. An OB educator facilitates the group and offers monthly topics. This class is offered the first Tuesday of the month at 2pm and is geared towards moms during the first six months following birth. Join us as early as the first week after your baby is born. Cost: Free |
